Classic Lashes
Classic lashes is when one mink extension is applied to one natural lash, therefore if you only have 50 suitable natural lashes per eye, then you will only achieve a look of 50 eyelash extensions, whereas if you have 100 natural lashes per eye then you will achieve a look of 100 extensions per eye.
Classic lashes are suitable for the following client:

-
Clients that have a good amount of healthy natural lashes
-
Clients that have few gaps in their lash line
-
Clients that desire a natural/medium effect
Hybrid Lashes
This is a mix of 2D Lash Extensions and Classic Lash Extensions using premade lash fans. The effect is a textured look and is a great option if you’re a classic wearer and just want that little bit more from your set. Some lashes may have one mink lash on them while others may have a 2D fan. Hybrid volume is also a great tool for customizing sets into looks such as the ‘Kim K’ inspired lashes. This is when long lengths of classic lashes are strategically placed and filled in between with the volume extensions to give a spiky textured look.
2D Lashes
A 2D lash set is when the technician applies one 2D fan to each natural lash. A 2D fan consists of one root, but has two hairs which are fanned out. This is a perfect set for the client that wants an upgrade from their classic set, wants more volume, or has gaps in their natural lash line.
Volume Lashes
Volume lash fans are made with multiple ultra fine extensions. Each fan has one root, but may have 3 to 6 lashes on each one. This creates extra fluff, coverage and fullness that cannot be created with classic, or hybrid extensions. Although we use multiple extensions, the fan is still placed onto one individually isolated natural lash in a method that encases the natural lash, and results in great retention with zero damage. The client must have healthy natural lashes that are strong enough to hold the volume fan.
A Volume set is perfect for the older client with sparse natural lashes, where extra coverage and a soft fluffy look is required (light weight lashes). It's also suitable for the client who desires a more glamorous and thicker looking set. The level of fullness can vary with Volume lashes, which allows us to create the effect suited to the client’s requirements.

What you need to know before your session
* Minimize Allergy Concerns
Individuals exposed to a known allergen prior to their appointment, i.e., seasonal allergies or pet allergies being the most common, may be more likely to experience an allergic reaction to the eyelash extension adhesive. It is recommended that you consider taking an oral and/or ophthalmic (eye) antihistamine prior to your appointment.
*Avoid Caffeine/Stimulants
Caffeine and stimulants may put you in an agitated state, preventing you from being still and relaxed during your appointment.
* Complete the Client Consent Form
It is essential that you fill out the Client intake form truthfully, so any pre-existing conditions can be taken into consideration. Certain illnesses, injuries, medications, allergies, and hormone imbalances or fluctuations might not make you a good candidate for the application, in that you may be prone to premature eyelash loss. I will review the consent form prior to the application and discuss any concerning answers at that time.
* Remove All Eye Make Up
Please avoid wearing any eye makeup to your eyelash appointment. Remove mascara, eyeliner, and other eye makeup beforehand using a makeup remover. Also, please avoid curling your lashes. You will get the best results when the lashes are in their natural state.
* Remove Your Contact Lenses
If you are someone who wears contact lenses, please bring a contact lens case and saline solution to your appointment. As a safety precaution you will be required to remove your lenses before the lashes are applied. Wearing contact lenses while getting lash extensions is a safety issue. After the lashes are applied, you may wear your contacts after 24 hours.
